In the FCC Form 471, you’ll be asked to provide a number of different codes. Some applicants have never heard of these codes, and don’t know how to look up their school/library’s codes!
Here, we’ll break down what these codes are for, and how to find yours.

This is our last post during the 28-day filing period! If you submitted FCC Form 470 when we wrote about it in the blog (March 3), then Friday, April 1 will be the first day you can select a service provider.*
Next week, we’ll show you how to evaluate and select a vendor using the selection criteria you identified earlier in the process.
*If you submitted FCC Form 470 on a different day, check the “allowable contract/vendor selection date” (ACD) on your FCC Form 470 receipt notification letter to see the first day you’re allowed to select a service provider and sign a contract. The letter will be in the “News Feed” of your EPC account.
